I've been wearing this watch for a couple of weeks. It meets expectations of a low-end smartwatch. Some concerns: The watch is described as waterproof, but the seller's response to an Amazon question said that it could become damaged if immersed in water! The QR code for watch software takes you to a non-secure site (http instead of https). Features do not match what is in the user manual. For example the manual shows a "find your phone" option which is not available. The user manual is written in comically bad English. (When will manufacturers realize that paying high-quality technical English editors will dramatically increase revenue?) There is a stopwatch, but no countdown timer, much less a tabata-style timer (which is needed for MANY sports training activities). The only way to disable a recurring alarm is by using the app. The watch face and band are nicer looking than most watches in this price range, but the (not visible) backside of the watch became discolored with white haze within a few days. Apparently, the only way to prevent illumination of the bright green pulse sensor at night (which is annoying to bedmates) is to turn off the watch altogether, but that obviously is unsatisfactory if you want to use the wake-up alarm. Battery life is good. Most of the watch face options have stupid graphics on them, but there is one no-nonsense option (downloadable from the app) that fills the screen with useful information and even displays the date in conformance with IEEE standard yyyy-mm-dd. Unfortunately, the watch has a tendency to randomly change watch faces. I have figured out why this is happening, but there is no way to stop it. (The watch has a feature to change watch face if you touch the screen for three seconds -- that is obviously being triggered accidentally, perhaps by getting water on it, resting your arm on something, etc.; only a firmware update can fix this bad behavior by offering an option to disable screen touch whenever the watch is in a "passive operating mode".)Although I do like the fitness tracker the instructions were a little vague. It took a couple of hours to install the extra apps needed to get the tracker to synchronize with the Android phone that I have. The first one I got the box looked like it had been retaped really poorly. The watch band looked like it had been worn and looked like it had built up grime on it. The back of the watch had scratches on it. So I returned it and got a replacement. The second one looked much better. So I got this and paired it with an Android. It requires their ReadSport app to control and pair the watch with your phone. Annoyingly they want you to set up an account with them. However you can bypass that and use the app without an account. That being said it paired without problems. It keeps a charge for a crazy long time and charges fairly fast. The charger stays connected fairly well and charges at a reasonable rate, but not what I'd call fast. The heartbeat monitor seems fairly accurate. It has pretty much the same reading as the Samsung Health apps pulse measure, only having an average difference of a about 1 heartbeat. The step counter also seems to fairly accurate as well, at least it keeps a very similar count as my Samsung Health app's step count. The camera control works, but you have to be fairly vigorous to get it to activate the shutter. For the life of me, I can't figure out how to get the weather app to work on the watch. Maybe that's because I didn't create an account on their site, but I can't find anything on the watch or in the app to configure it to get the weather settings. Same with the messages app. They also need to hire a good translator for the documentation and and the application. While you can figure out what they are trying to say, you have to take a moment and decipher their poor grammar and word usage that really doesn't make sense. The music controls do work, but there is a bit of a delay. It does the basic functions well, but some of the others not so well. If you really want a smartwatch and your budget is small, this may be a decent choice for you, but I'm guessing you should probably spend money on a better watch if your budget can handle it.Even asked tech support and there is apparently no cure for sleep tracking starting only at midnight.
