Who knew HD-SDI monitors could be this inexpensive and work well? I love the flexibility of this monitor, with its multiple signal and power inputs. Honestly, I'm only using it as an enlarged viewfinder for cameras in studio configuration. I wouldn't say it's anything close to true professional monitoring equipment, but it does the job with lots of flexibility at a price that's hard to argue with. If you don't need accurate color or a particularly crisp image, and just need a portable way to verify image in the field, this might be the right choice for you. I will be buying a second one in the near future for a second camera in this same configuration. The image is quite bright, so no problems there. The panel probably should have a slightly higher pixel density. And, it doesn't inspire much confidence that the official spec on operating temperature is "call us." But, for the money, and our use, which is largely indoors with controlled temps, it should be just fine.
