First thing I want to say is that this is a USB-C hub based monitor that serves the purpose of connecting a laptop, or in my case a Razer Blade 18 mobile desktop, to the monitor via one cable. The hub is small though, with only 2 USB ports that are good for a keyboard and mouse and a ethernet port which is great though limited to 1gbps. What I like though is that you can use the DP (display port) to route to another monitor for a three screen setup, a basic two monitor setup with laptop screen. (You have to look into the setting options to enable it, and I have to say it was not described in the manual which really only pointed out the obvious ports and that was about it.) This did replace me main USB C hub that I was using, and I am happy with the additional work space as this is part of my work bench area. I did not need this hub to power my Razer Blade 18 either as the 65 watts would not power it under load, it can charge the battery I found as long as the system wasn't actively draining the battery.Moving on from the hub though. This is a workhorse style monitor, you wont get major color accuracy here, but it is still good. It is a lot better than my last monitor which urged me every time I was using it to replace it with something better. A cheaper IPS panel monitor that just didn't look good, I honestly thought I could live with it when I first got the older monitor though. There is something about the clarity of the screen that I like and contrast is better. Color is also better here, but I think it circles back to having a better contrast ratio. I think the only thing to be improved here is the brightness of the screen. They advertise a 250cd brightness but it feels darker than that, even with the power saving options disabled.Despite the small downfalls of dim screen and lack of colors in the NTSC spectrum, at 72%, this is a work horse screen and you can easily view it for hours and I noticed no eye fatigue compared with even my other screens that perform better. Moreover, I found this would work with a mini PC, like the one I own that uses a Ryzen 4700U, with one USB_C cable, it would be powered and provide a image on the screen, it even has a VESA mount so I could mount it on the back of this monitor. That would make for a great setup for someone needing less cluttered work environments, but you would have to check that the computer you got for the setup supported this method. I used that mini PC for 2D game design lessons with my son.Moving on, I didn't use the stand for this, however it is tall, allowing for a height range and provides good ballast. The stand also allows for monitor rotation and pivot. The stand here really is good, but I am using a articulating arm setup so I can push the monitor and mounted Razer Blade 18 back so I could use my work bench for electronic repairs or 3D printed post processing. (I provided a picture of my setup, and yes the Razer Blade 18 smudges up really really easily. The right side sound matting is for sound that the FDM 3D Printer makes, and below the work bench is my soldering equipment and a enclosure with a resin 3D printer.)I actually love this monitor, the only way it could be better is better colors and brightness and maybe a larger screen but I am not sold on the larger screen idea as much right now. It does include a DP cable and a USB-C cable for hooking it up, and the USB-C cable handles the hub and video aspects of my setup. I made this setup so I could keep working on days my wife takes over my main desktop for work at home days which are twice a week. So outside of slightly elevated cost, which is covered with the built in hub, I can absolutely recommend this monitor. It was really easy to setup and it allowed me to free up more power plugs for other equipment. (The old monitors power bring took up 3 spaces on my power strip and I was able to remove the power cord for my old USB hub.)
