I didn't choose these speakers for their price point. After being frustrated with a perpetual backorder on some similar speakers from Fluance I started looking for other options. I couldn't find anything comparable that I believed could satisfy me, then I saw these 5.25 Rockvilles. The specs sounded like something in the price range of the top end brands, but the price made them sound too good to be true. BUT contrary to the usual thinking these are THAT GOOD and reasonably priced too. So you can't connect by Bluetooth; if you really want hi-fidelity sound, do you really think a wireless connection is important?I am amazed by the look, feel of these quality US built speakers and blown away by the sound. They are almost too much for my office/man cave but amazingly enough they sound just as good at lower volumes and let me tell you they are awesome when you crank the V. The bass is strong, and well-balanced with the crystal clear highs and mids, not to be confused with the kind of bass that rattles all of the windows in the neighborhood. If that's all you are looking for, you could add a sub and still spend less than you will for most of the well known brands of high quality bookshelf speakers, and for me, a sub is not needed, and isn't that the point of a full range set of bookshelf speakers?Rockville 5.25" 2-Way 250W Active/Powered USB Studio Monitor Speakers Pair (APM5C) are some of the best speakers that I have ever owned, period.
