The instructions are terrible. I took it in and out three times to get the valve to turn smoothly. It has to bet set just right or it grinds on the housing. The water direction valve doesn't work. I have to remove it again to find the issue.This is a BIG hunk of brass carefully machined to give great service and durability. However, the trim is connected to a plastic plaster guard that seems a bit flimsy. It has held up. It works very well. But make certain to read the instructions BEFORE you purchase your trim kit as a 3 position diverter only uses two of the three outputs. Wasn't a problem for me because we bought a six position kit, but I saw a lot of complaints. Read The Manual, people. It avoids frustration later.I liked the product but I made a mistake in ordering. It is a 6 position valve, wanted the 3 position valve which I ordered and am waiting for Amazon delivery.Ordered this item it came in on time wonderful product would recommend it to those who want a six function valve this is it!Good I like it ?this valve looks and works great, good quality and installed well. The scald limiter adjustment may take some trial and error. Using 3-6 way functionsReally pretty and great quality. You can tell the handle is heavy and turns really smoothly.
