Keep getting error message 03. I checked all connections and they are fineVery frustrating.Update: Rolandstar sent me a new electronic controller. I put it on and the desk works fine now.Hopefully it’s not going to go out this time. The desk is fine now that it is assembled. The directions were not included (the ones that were started at step 24). I emailed CS and had better instructions emailed the next day. It took a long time to assemble and I had to kind of reverse engineer some of the steps for the shelf part of the desk. The directions were not super clear but I got it together and it is fine for what I need it for.Perfect desk, looks nice and is very functional! My only issue was that the instructions were SO bad. I pride myself on being able to assemble prefab furniture with ease, however this was the most frustrating thing to put together. It took 2 of us 4 or 5 hours to figure out. Once its complete though, desk is awesome!I was looking for a self rising desk for my home work space. I needed something to fit in a tight space. I impressed with how smooth it operates and it's also very quiet. I am super happy with this product. It's sturdy and I was able to put it together with the instructions and tools sent. I would buy this again and definitely recommend. Only thing is the plastic cover for the wires inside the cubby broke. The spring popped and the slider fell off. Other than that everything was good. That is so minor though. Got the 39 size.I was super excited when i first out this desk together. The directions were easy enough to understand. I put this together on my own and it took maybe an hour or so.within a week of having it, the desk does not remain level when hanging the heights of the desk. My computer screens almost slid all the way off as own side would go down but the other side now does not causing a big slant.also the button drawer is already falling off the track.i was so impressed with this desk at first glance but have become disappointed very quickly.andAnd to make it worse, returning this desk is definitely not an easy taskOk so this is a pretty nice desk once you get it assembled. BUT that’s the key- Once you get it assembled. Pay very close- and I mean VERYCLOSE attention to the pictures. The boards don’t tell you what is up or down, left or right, top or bottom. So you have to match up every piece using very tiny picture instructions (and these picture instructions contain few if any words to help you determine things). I’m pretty good at assembling furniture and even with the help of my husband this took about two hours to put together so be prepared for that. Counting all the wood and inserts and metal pieces and screws, there’s well over 100 pieces. So be prepared for a full project. And also be prepared to unassemble something because you couldn’t see the itty bitty dots that indicates where something should go so you put it on wrong. But if you’re up for the challenge of assembly, it turns out to be a pretty good looking desk when you’re done.I was hesitant to buy this desk because there were no reviews when I purchased it. I am glad I did because I love this desk!Assembly:The assembly was pretty straightforward but I put a several pieces on backwards and had to take it apart in a couple areas. The diagram instructions could have highlighted how to tell what direction the part goes a little better.Desktop:The material is a composite but I don't think it feels cheap. The "wood" for the top looks exactly like the picture and is water resistant though I wouldn't want to leave water sitting on it for too long. The top of the desk is in two parts but the split is at the edge of the shelf so its not noticeable. The shelf has plenty of space for my two monitors and there is more than enough space on the lower level for a laptop and separate keyboard. While the shelves are closed at the back the center has a hole for wires. The drawer on the bottom is little harder to pull than I like.Motor:The motor is quiet enough thay you can't hear it while on the phone. There are four buttons you can set to select preset heights. I did notice that the motor cant tell when the desk is in the lowest position so you will get the E04 error if you keep pushing the button past this point (This error clears after a couple minutes for me). At the highest possible position there is a slight but barely noticeable wobble.Accessible:The hooks for headphones and electronic basket are huge bonus for me.For the price this desk is definitely worth it.Overall I have no major issue just the fact that the lower drawer does not close flush it sticks out . I would still recommend this product I have not had any issues with the mechanics.I recieved this desk, there was a scratch on the last peice I took out of the box. I decided to live with the scratch BUT, when it was finally assembled, the motor didn't work, one side kept slipping while the other side continued to rise leaving the desk sloped to one side. I wrote to the company to see if they could ship me a new motor and top, but they haven't answered. The desk is so heavy, there is no way I can bring it anywhere to return it without renting a car. In my opinion, I'm staying away from this company.A couple steps of the building process nearly drove me insane. If you have patience and are organized this will be no problem. The instructions are very clear even being only pictures, and all the parts were included and labeled well. Hint: when it says “do not tighten screws all the way yet” actually listen to it! The bottom drawer is actually really sturdy and connected well to the underside, I would not be afraid of any drawer malfunction. The top 2 drawers are fabric on particleboard and the wood veneer is obviously not top quality but I’m not buying a $2000 desk am I? The raising mechanism is quite slow and a bit noisy but it works just fine for me! The height is great for me (5’5”) and my husband (5’10”) we could both use the desk comfortably. Love the cable hole in the back - it’s perfect for the hub I use and I love all the drawers. Overall I think the value for money is amazing. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this desk to others looking to set up their work-at-home office.I am so annoyed with this product and the vendor. The table looks aesthetically very pretty, but the mechanical function makes this a completely useless product. The table stopped going up literally after a week, in the way, that the left leg would keep going up while the right leg was stuck. If I had taken a couple more seconds to realize this was happening, my monitors would be on the floor. My assembly guy took a look at it again and said one of the parts was defective.Contacted Amazon to help provide a part, but they were even more terrible as to tell me to "contact the vendor" because they did not carry parts. Sure, you don't carry parts, but then why do I even place an order with you guys!Contacted the vendor and they shipped me a new table, super helpful, provided a tracking number as well. Assembled the table, everything was nice. Three days later, now I get an error E03 every time I try to adjust the height. Switch it off and on, it will work for that one time, and then refuse to move up. Since yesterday, even the switching on/off doesn't help anymore.checked the weight capacity and it says it's 176 lbs or 80 kgs, and all I got on this table are two monitors (12kgs), my macbook pro (2.5kgs), a keyboard and a mouse (maybe another 2kgs), sometimes a water bottle (1kg ). All in all the weight I have on this table doesn't exceed 20kgs, and that's a stretch calculation I just randomly did. Maybe the actual weight is not more than 15kgs.I am so disappointed!!One side rises before the other, no matter what the weight distribution is. Makes are really loud "knocking" noise, like something is stuck, when raising up or down. I have to assist with the lift to reduce this noise.Error code always locks motor out when at top and bottom ranges. The surface area is nice, the upper shelf holds two monitors. The bottom drawer sticks and does not hold muchWorks as intended. The wood finish looks nice and it's sturdy. Easy to assemble. Average price (purchased at 400 CAD).My only problem is that every time I descend it to the full bottom, it gets a E04 (overweight error) and then needs to have a power cycle. If I have it just one cm above that level, it works fine otherwise.
